3 Super Simple Classic Cocktails

We all want to impress our friends and family when we throw dinner parties or host movie nights, and when those folks are cocktail connoisseurs, that task can seem…daunting.

Now that the quarantines are lifting across the country, indoor events are on their way back, and we’re here to make sure you’re prepared! We’ve chosen a few of our favorite classic cocktails that are sure to dazzle even the pickiest of drinkers.

The French Martini

A simple yet luxurious classic.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Vodka
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1/2 oz Chambord Raspberry Liquor
  • Raspberries for Garnish.

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in an ice filled shaker. 
  2. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
  3. Strain into chilled coup or martini glass.
  4. Give the cocktail a moment to settle to create the pineapple foam.
  5. Garnish with raspberries.
  6. Sip and enjoy!

A classic and bewitching vintage martini.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 oz Dry Gin
  • 3/4 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 3/4 oz Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
  • 3/4 oz Lime Juice, Freshly Squeezed
  • Garnish with Sliced Cucumber or Brandied Cherry

Instructions

  1. Add all liquid ingredients to an ice filled shaker. 
  2. Shake vigorously.
  3. Strain into chilled coupe or martini glass.
  4. Garnish and serve!

Tequila Honey Bee

This instant classic was invented by Nick Korbee, the Executive Chef and Beverage Director at Egg Shop in NYC.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Reposado Tequila
  • 1 oz Honey Syrup
  • .75 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  •  2 dashes of bitters.
  • Splash of Mezcal

Instructions

  1. Rinse chilled coupe or rocks glass with mezcal, discard extra spirits.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients in shaker with ice and shake vigorously. 
  3. Strain into glass and garnish with lemon twist.

Notes:

To make Honey Syrup: add 1 cup of honey and 1/2 cup of water to saucepan and heat gradually until consistency is even and smooth.


We like a big, hearty drink, so to put our Ambrosia Twist on this beverage, double the original recipe, add some ice and top off with soda water. Make sure you use a larger glass!
